Well, As far as success is concerned, it varies person to person. Everyone has his own version of success.
However, According to most of the people, 'Success in Life' means:
Having Handsome Job,
Beautiful & Nice wife,
Social Security + all necessities of life.
But, some people also have slightly different version of success also, they don't seems to be interested in above mentioned things or give them very little preference.
So, every one has his own definition of success.
Lets suppose you are looking for success in career. How do look through it. Becoming Manager in a 5 star hotel is a success or getting some skill at a particular time of career is success.
Preparing your success recipe
Lets suppose you have defined your success recipe. Now, it comes to cook it- the most crucial step.
Learning to cook for success does not come overnight. You must have to put lot of effort for it. It takes time to learn it.
Just like cooking, you must have to learn from your mistakes. Due to constant learning & practicing, makes you better in what you are doing.
Take your time to settle for what Success Recipe you are looking for. After switching many jobs, it took me some time to know, what I am truly looking for. And still, I am making my self to master this recipe.
As it is said, 'Human can never be happy with his static status'. He needs dynamic life to enjoy it. So, A success today does not mean success tomorrow.
So, one needs to ask himself, What is the real meaning of Success
